i designed some military inspired jackets for the band Team Illuminati for their rock opera Space Attack, which debuted at the Middle Tennessee Anime Convention this weekend. see below. started with military jackets already made (you need an industrial machine for that kind of fabric, or really, very rough and tumble hands, neither of which i have), and developed a system of honors, badges, and ranking with some kickass old supplies from Nana's house. i used zippers, old crested silver buttons, and trim to create positions in the army that attacks the aliens and the people under their control (don't want to give tooooo much away of the story) in the black and white signature of T.I. more photos to come- these are on my crappy camera at dress rehearsal.
