cross your fingers!!

ok, folks, this might be it. i had an interview last week for a job (wednesday) and they called me this morning at the Crack to tell me they want me to do a second interview. i really want this job! it's the only one for which i've interviewed that meets and exceeds my financial needs, but also just Feels like a good fit. i wasn't as nervous for the first interview as i have been on some others, and i walked out of it still wanting the job, unlike the ones where i've walked out and thought, 'no freakin' way, dude!' i tried not to get my hopes up, but it's too late. i suppose it's a down/upside to being positive. but the positive kick seems to be helping- i at least Feel better, and finally feel like i have some options. keep in mind that i got laid off at the worst possible time of year, so i've had more people interested in hiring me in the past three weeks than in the whole tail of last year.
cross your fingers for me! xx it worked for the giants!!

at least i have something about which to blog. what do i do all day? look for a job, go to the gym, and watch full house and golden girls. and i must stress again, golden girls rules, man. RULES. and if and when i get this job, i'm buying it all on DVD, baby!

at least i've had time to work on the Vaudes, but the other girls are so much busier than i am, it gets hard. we went to a fashion show that was Totally worth Bebe's five bucks last week, and we all decided it was great for us putting out all of the positive energy that resulted from us watching it. 'Thriller' was involved. that's right. and Lafar did take me out saturday night to see Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, which was fun. i haven't been able to go to a show in a long time, and it was nice of her to take me. the only thing that sucked was it was at the cannery ballroom, aka the worst venue in town. even if you see a show from backstage there, it's no good. i don't think i'm going to go there anymore unless Tori plays there or something (highly unlikely). when Lafar got the tickets, it was at the mercy, so we were a little disappointed about that. but the music was great! if you like Amy Winehouse and the Dynamites, you'll probably like miss Sharon. http://www.myspace.com/sharonjonesandthedapkings

also, Josh and i have been watching the office (the american version). if you don't watch it, you really should. it's fantastic. start at the beginning and watch them in order, and it's even better.

hope everyone has a good week.
