Yikes.

we watched this movie 'sunshine' that the same guy directed, and it's Seriously Intense. i'm still thinking about it and a little freaked. i had nightmares!

miss you!! you and miss Sydney stay warm up there!

xoxoxmode.https://www.blogger.com/profile/06976236130988110060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2337231110406339305.post-73810135635048276072008-01-14T11:47:00.000-06:002008-01-14T11:47:00.000-06:00Wow! What a great zombie face! What did you thin...Wow! What a great zombie face!

What did you think about "I am Legend"? I thought it was pretty silly, though I was a little scared during the movie (I squeezed Sydney's thigh during some of the intense parts without realizing it, and she was all "Uh, James...let go baby). I couldn't help but think that they ripped off the concept from 28 days/weeks later, but didn't really present it as well. making it sort of ridiculous. 28 days scared the living s*#! out of me, and the word silly didn't cross my mind ONCE. It's interesting that these 3 films (28 days, 28 weeks and legend) all fit into the zombie genre rather well, while redefining the concept of what a zombie can be (zombies don't have to be dead anymore before they can come after your ass!) Of course, if you want to be technical about this and stick to the original concept, rage infections and KV do not really equal zombie. In a way, it makes zombies a lot scarier since they might not have to come from beyond the grave. But the only thing about I am Legend that gave me the creeps was the idea behind the whole viral epidemic, where humankind destroys itself in an attempt to save it. Ouch!

I'm sorry to hear you were sick...that totally blows... chunks! Glad to know you are feeling better!

TTFNN! (ta ta for now, ______!) You can fill in the blank. :)mr.jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13452529228544435924noreply@blogger.com
